Recent work from 2020 exploring the intersection of functional use with concept, a riff on the proverbial Form vs. Content convo. Made in preparation for the exhibit Fantastic Art Furniture You Didn't Know You Needed at Bernice Steinbaum Gallery, Miami, FL. These pieces are inspired by current events, south Florida's tropical aesthetic, and/or selected historical furniture movements. Designed to teeter between practical use and conceptualism, these works seek to offer multiple functions and to call into question the very purpose of function.
